How We Got Started

We had an extreme and urgent need for dog food and many of you helped us! We (and the dogs) cannot thank you enough. Normally, we have a few vendors who provide us with food, but there has been such an extreme need from so many organizations in the Southwest, that there simply has not been enough food from various pet pantries. So again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!
ROLLER SHADES
Recently, because of the extreme heat in Arizona, we had roller shades installed in our outdoor dog kennels. In addition, the dogs always have full roof covers and misters in the summer. We do everything we can to be sure all of our animals are as comfortable as possible. They deserve the best!

For the Luv of Paws thrift shop has recently lost two volunteers, both who passed away.
We are in dire need of people who are willing to regularly donate 1 day a week to work our shop in downtown Kingman, AZ. Location: 204 N 4th St.
Must be reliable and want to work with public. Easy position with few responsibilities. Go to our "Volunteer" page on this website to fill out a 1-page application and either mail to us or take to our thrift shop to drop off. Thank you!
Consider volunteering!
We REALLY need some reliable volunteers. A few to work our thrift shop - especially Mondays from 12:00 - 5:00 pm and at Kingman Petco once a week for 2 hours to feed the cats.
The dogs and cats will love you for it and you will be doing something for the animals and your community.
