How We Got Started

Check out this great video about For the Luv of Paws (FLP).  It gives a history of how the rescue/sanctuary got started and what is involved in making it a continuing success.  It features some of our adoptable animals and volunteers.

Update on Sanctuary Help & Clean-Up

December 26, 2019

We are so grateful to all those volunteers and supporters who have contributed to the sanctuary during a difficult time.  As many of you know, our main sanctuary worker broke his hip and was unable to work for several weeks.  He just returned to 'light duty'.  In the meantime, we were blessed to have both volunteers - and paid workers - who fed the cats, dogs and cleaned the sanctuary catteries and kennels.  Other general maintenance was also done.

NONE of this could have been done without the extra volunteers and generous financial support from those who believe in us.

THANK YOU!

Below is one of the 26 dog kennels with fresh sand, cleaned igloo bed and clean straw and blankets.

The Arfanage and 'Meet & Greet' Area Receives A Much-Needed Repair

December 26, 2019

The Arf-a-Nage sign posts were undermined by the latest major rain storms and the sign collapsed. New posts, cemented into the ground and the actual sign itself were repaired. The work was done by Jim Fury of Bullhead City, AZ.  THANK YOU Jim!!!!!

In addition, Old Glory flies again!

Also, the meet and greet area/play yard is now ready to go after the patio has been cleaned, igloos cleaned and clean blankets.

New Wind Break Tarps

December 26, 2019

The six outdoor catteries received brand-new wind break tarps.  My goodness, it is going to provide so much protection and will be easier to manage - especially during our high winds in the spring.

Outdoor Catteries Receive New Look On The Inside

December 26, 2019

The outdoor cat kennels with the ground leveled, new sand, houses cleaned, clean blankets, and clean litter boxes.

An Updated Storage Area

December 26, 2019

This is the storage area for dog/cat treats, wet food in pouches/cups and canned cat/dog food. All are now stored in buckets with lids and bins with lids to prevent damage/infestation from rodents.
