How We Got Started

DOG FOOD ALWAYS NEEDED
Having over 50 dogs to take care of each day, we go through a tremendous amount of dry dog food daily. We appreciate any donations of dog food. Any U.S. brand, any size - we mix them altogether so the dogs never have a problem with digesting the food. If you can, please help us. You can purchase the food and take it directly to our sanctuary (address on our 'Contact' page), drop off at the Pawsitively Charming Thrift Shop downtown Kingman (address on thrift shop page) or you can order the food online at Chewy, Walmart, Petco and have it delivered directly to us. There is a link to Chewy on our website (under 'Ways to Help').

ADOPTION EVENT
We are having an adoption event soon! Be sure to mark your calendar - we will have lots of puppies and young dogs.

THRIFT SHOP OPEN TILL 8 PM
On the first Friday of each month through October, Kingman AZ is having its 'First Friday' party downtown! The Pawsitively Charming Thrift Shoppe will stay open until 8:00 PM to join in the celebration. Come shop till you drop and have lots of fun downtown!

Since we are a no-kill sanctuary, we care for many animals that for a multitude of reasons are unable to be adopted to a home.
All animals receive love, exercise, medical care, shelter & food until the end of their natural lives. YOU can help with the expenses in caring for these sweet dogs and cats.

Consider volunteering!
We REALLY need some reliable volunteers. A few to work our thrift shop - especially Mondays from 12:00 - 5:00 pm and at Kingman Petco once a week for 2 hours to feed the cats.
The dogs and cats will love you for it and you will be doing something for the animals and your community.
