Foster

At times, the rescue facility is at capacity and we cannot take in additional animals until we have reduced the number of current rescue animals by finding them forever homes. Our goal is to never turn away an animal in need, only to have it be sent to the county shelter where its fate is almost guaranteed to be euthanasia within 48 hours. Thus, we need loving, stable foster homes with appropriate facilities to take care of these animals on a short-term basis. All costs for feeding, vaccines, spay/neuter are borne by FLP, unless other arrangements are made, such as, you have the means and would like to contribute the cost of food or vaccines for the animal.

If you can help in this area and would like to be included on our foster home roster, please fill out the Foster Home application and submit to us. All information will be verified and a home visit will be scheduled to determine if the facilities required are present (fenced yard, play areas, feeding stations, etc.)
